Sedona Watercolor Retreat with Lacey Walker

All-inclusive four-night/five-day May 12-16, 2027 art retreat with amazing watercolor and landscape artist, Lacey Walker, in gorgeous Sedona, AZ. The retreat will include accommodations at tranquil Briar Patch Inn Bed and Breakfast, nestled in verdant Oak Creek Valley and situated beside the serenely rippling Oak Creek. Guests will stay at one of five well-appointed cabins on the property and enjoy all-inclusive meals with a delicious Briar Patch Inn breakfast, catered lunches, and amazing chef-prepared dinners with wine service.

The retreat will offer five painting workshops on days 2-4, during which you will paint along side of and learn from Lacey, as she guides you through various watercolor techniques and stunning landscape paintings. On day three, the group will participate in a three-hour vehicle tour of Sedona and the surrounding geological wonders of the Red Rocks that will allow for numerous chances to wander and take memorable photos. After the tour there will be time to meander and explore the many interesting and wonderful shops in Sedona, after which we will dine at one of Sedona's highly rated restaurants to close out the day.

Transportation to and from the airport in Flagstaff is also provided. There will be a pre-arranged pick-up time and location for a hassle-free arrival to Briar Patch Inn. Additionally, on the fifth morning transportation will be provided back to the airport in Flagstaff. All outings and transportation during the retreat is included in the cost of the retreat. Please be aware that landline telephones and televisions are excluded from cabins and rooms to ensure a more peaceful environment. All cabins have air-conditioning and heat, and either a full kitchen or kitchenette with all of the basic essentials, including microwave, and a coffee maker with teas, coffee, and hot cocoa. Shampoo, conditioner, and blow dryers are included in each bathroom.

MEET OUR WORKSHOP ARTIST Lacey Walker

Lacey Walker is an artist based in Colorado. Her unstoppable need to create is satisfied by painting patterns, little animals, and is heavily inspired by landscapes. Her favorite ways to create are with watercolor, mixed media, and acrylic paint. The view of the Rocky Mountains often inspires her paintings. In addition to her home state landscapes she also loves filling travel sketchbooks with landscapes and patterns she finds on her travels. 

Her favorite way to quench her thirst for art is by sharing it with others. Otherwise known as  Rebel Unicorn Crafts, she creates simple and easy to follow watercolor tutorials. In addition she has authored two books, "Learn To Watercolor” and soon to be released “Learn to Watercolor Adorable Animals”. She aims to help make learning watercolor easy and accessible. She loves all things art and has an unstoppable curiosity to try and figure out the why as well as the how of everything in art. But, most of all, she loves sharing her knowledge and wants to help you get creative!
